Lachlan joined the YMCA Geelong Board in November 2023 and bring with him his ability to empowering people, think strategically with an optimistic growth mindset leadership style.

The alignment of the Lachlan personal views as a person with a strong social/community conscience that loves inclusive community development, sports, and disability, health and employment impacts makes Lachlan a valuable addition to the Board discussions and decision making.

A proven track record of developing high performing team cultures that drive values alignment and business growth. Lachlan is currently the CEO of the not for profit, social enterprise GDP (Geelong Disabled People’s Industries).  Lachlan has a deep connection with the Geelong region and under took the Leaders for Geelong Program in 2019-2020 and has an extensive experience in senior management positions with GENU and Leisure Networks. He is an activity community contributor serving of School Councils and community sporting club committees of management. Lachlan has Masters in Business Administration and Graduate Diploma Business Administration.
